Sharp3D.Math Resurected on CodePlex

Posted in  | .

Although it has been practically dead for a long time, I've recently decided to resurect my open-source C# math library.
Up until yesterday, the project's home at Codeplex only contained the last release's (1.1.3) source and binaries which I developed long time ago on .NET 1.1.
Yesterday I've uploaded to the source control the new code based I have started to work on using .NET 2.0 and generics.

I will try to keep the sources updated and fix the occasional bugs I get (which I usually recieve via email which is less comfortable than using CodePlex for tracking).

As always, any contribution is appreciated...

Hello,

I've been waiting for this good news for some time.
Being only a newbie in C#, I can't offer to do much to help, but with the right guidance/help, could try to build some doc's, or tutorials... If there aren't any yet.

Excelent work so far.

Eran,
I'd be willing to help you also. A very worthy project.

I downloaded the Sharp3D-24292.zip package, and opened it in VS 2008 Beta 2 (because it's an Orcas project). I noticed that both projects in the solution reference System.Core and System.Xml.Linq, .NET 3.5. My application uses .NET 3.0, because the 3.5 is still in beta and I don't want to force end users to install it. After removing the mentioned (apparently unused) references, I was able to downgrade the project to use .NET 3.0 - but is it a safe operation?
